I have chanced across him online a few times, but never had the pleasure of talking to him directly. Which is a shame. He’s very good… and the sort of person I think would be great to spend a conversation with. Besides, I have a few personal thoughts on a few possible hidden meanings/subtle nuances which have crossed my mind.

Check out the video, Sebastian’s Voodoo, below and click on it to go to the YouTube site where each vote through May 20th counts!

I stumbled across this illustration while doing some research last week, and given its supernatural (and homoerotic) nature, I thought it fitting for this blog.

The artist is a creative and talented man named Valerhon. Mythological themes run throughout his body of work, yet I find the darkness intriguing. You can check out his blog for more information and to view more examples of his work. I know one picture, titled “Blessing of the Sidhe” will get the attention of a certain someone…

This painting is entitled “The Immortal”.

Click on the picture to view the full-sized image. But I should warn you now, there is full frontal nudity involved…

Well, not for skeletons.

The resin pieces were meticulously crafted using techniques used by palaeontologists to approximate the skeletal structure of creatures. Mr. Lee just happened to have the ingenious idea of turning it on our favorite cartoon critters.

Wile E. Coyote, Road Runner, Donald Duck, Elmer Fudd, Bugs Bunny, and several others.

The morbid creations have caused quite a stir and many laughs. The exhibition runs through August 31st.
