I have to go through my old emails to find which B&B it is. I know it's gay-owned... can't remember where exactly it is. Could be near Brisbane for all I know. LOL

I may not be a true blue, but I know what a gaol is. ;) :P LOL I've thought about looking into haunted gaols (or even seeing if Captain Moonlight haunts anywhere), but it's not always easy to tell which ghost is in a gaol without investigating it thoroughly.

I know there has to be one haunted gay bar or lesbian ghost somewhere though. I won't rest until I've scoured the country from Sydney to Perth. :)

hhahaa, yes i have heard of this bed and breakfast haunting but i think it was over in WA somewhere. i think there is several old gaols (thts how u spell jail in aust) that are still around. i think that in a way there could be "closeted" ghost stories because heaps of sodomy went down in those gaols, i only know of one lesbian encounter tht hppened in a tasmanian gaol, revealed through a documentary recently done about gblt history in aust. SBS did that documentary i believe. damn aussiephiles.

I just got back last night from Bethel, ak 425 miles north east of Anchorage. And I heard the same stories, of people disappearing with no rhyme or reason, no trace, not even foot prints just gone. Do I believe? couldnt tell you, but it did make me look here for more information, lol

I picked up your book through Amazon.ca. Great read. I've been a long time reader and would love to guest post if you'll let me. I was in Ottawa about two weeks after you were there and took the ghost tour with my husband. Loved it. Even went to the haunted restaurant downtown that was originally the doctor's residence. Wonderful fun.

Absolutely!!! It's incredible, even just from a scenic aspect, and very gay-friendly. Though traffic can be a bit of a nightmare and around Halloween itself, things can get very crazy. I say go in the weeks before Halloween... and walk whenever possible.
